Telling Our Stories - Story Telling Class (3 class series Victory Gardens Biograph, Chicago) Late Spring 2012

Solo Writing from the Soul - With Wendy Hammers, Weekend Class (Los Angeles) June 2012.

Private Sessions, & Coaching: Solo & Mixed genre - I coach writers from across the country through private sessions both in person and by distance coaching. The process is simple- you are encouraged to Email your work ahead of time so I can read it through before we meet. We will then work together on your writing based on your goals and intentions. You also have the option to work these by phone or “Apple I Chat” (which is very cool). I have found that these classes have also proven to be very effective to the development of your material.

Privates coaching sessions are effective because the entire focus of the session is based on your work and your particular needs. This type of arrangement is $75.00 per sloppy hour. I usually like to chat before any agreement is made so that we can talk about your work, your goals and to see if we're a good fit. This is of course a freebie.

Speak Easy-Speak Hard - Please join us at our groovy Spoken Word Salon at the beautiful wine Bar “In Fine Spirits”. It is designed to feature the works of people in classes. The pieces are hot the the vibe is cool. Dec 2011.

Telling Our Stories - Everyone has a story and this workshop is designed to develop and explore tools that make your stories accessible and exciting. For new or seasoned storytellers, who want to tell your stories at family dinners, in bars, spoken word events or for public speakers, or performers.

Please bring material to be shared in class. This material is a work in progress- so reading it or just talking through an idea is fine. This class is designed for you- so let me know how I might best serve you and your process.

Check list of things to bring:

• Please bring material to be shared in class. This material is a work in progress- so reading it or just talking through an idea is fine. This class is designed for you- so let me know how I might best serve you and your process. And if you don’t have material to share come anyway, your feedback and support is important. It will also serve to motivate and excite you to get back to the page. Also- If you need to miss a date, let me know head of time and we can arrange a privates session

• Two copies of your materials- double spaced

• Stuff you need to write with, your good luck charms if you are so inclined (writers like ball players are a superstitious bunch), Your sense of adventure, an open mind and your spirit of generosity and fun.

Lastly, I encourage you to be in the creative process as you go thru your day; while you wash the dishes or sort laundry or daydream. I encourage you to honor your gifts by writing on a consistent basis. I encourage you to write through your fear, your confusion, your uncertainty and your busy schedule. And to always, always listen for the story.
